Geoexchange (Ground Source Heat Pumps)

A technology that uses the constant, stable temperature of the earth near the surface to provide heating and cooling to buildings. The system does not generate electricity. Instead, it moves thermal energy. It transfers heat from a building into the earth during the summer (cooling), and it transfers heat from the earth into a building during the winter (heating).
