Rated Working Pressure (RWP)

The maximum internal pressure that a piece of equipment is designed to safely contain during operations. This rating is specified by the manufacturer and is a fundamental parameter for well design and safety. Working pressure is not to be confused with test pressure (Refer to latest version of API standard). Note: this definition applies to the lowest pressure rated component of the barrier envelope.
